A new design for a pavilion had to be made to create extra space for exhibition projects of the TU Delft. Also the park between the Science centre and the faculty of Architecture was in a very bad shape. In the past this park was the centre of the TU Delft. Now the TU Delft is extended and this park lost its true identity.

My goal was to create a new park for students what can be used for studying. The pavilion is used as a separation and as a link between a reception for visitors with a showroom and new space to study inside or outside the park.

The building is a combination of 2 important new functions. One, it focusses on a better way to storage water because of the (soiled) water overload, using a sloped green-roof. Two, this green-roof on the south-side will also provide for a constant heat flow in the inside environment.

The design has became an attachment of the existing science park of the TU Delft. This project was chosen as best project of the minor Archineering.
