Here a new design for the maquette hall of BK-City is proposed. In the current design, my main concern is about the regulation of the indoor climate. Users are not able to influence the conditions inside the hall and therefor the indoor climate is often experienced as a bad one. The new design focuses on improving this aspect.

In my design the user is able to change the ventilation per seat (low level), but also per part of the facade (high level). Also sunshade is applied in a way that the sun can be blocked per table (either partially or entirely).

Another positive effect of this design is that the students have the possibility to regulate their own climate, which leads to more awareness on what indoor climate means.
